This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 1st day of August, 1928, in accordance with request made by Mr. [195].

1. GC: You will have before you the bodies and enquiring minds of [195], ... St., and [4666], ... Ave., both of ..., Ohio, and the dreams that have come to these concerning mechanical contrivances of like nature that would benefit mankind. You will interpret these as I give them to you, giving their correlation, and answering the questions as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the bodies [195] and [4666] - these we have had here before. Dreams or visions, as we see, present themselves to bodies - and to these bodies - in and through the ways or channels as has been given. To individuals they present varied effects of the mental ability, or concentrated effort, or an at-onement with mental developments for a body. Ready for dreams.

3. (Q) [195], early hours of July 26th - 28th. Saw 2 officers and 3 or 4 people inspecting new motorcycle. Walked over and noted that the driving mechanism was in form of caterpillar arrangement. I left and said to [4666], "That is the arrangement whereby aeroplanes and boats could be driven much faster. We had better hurry and apply for patent for same."
(A) (Interrupting) This, as visioned, an application of mechanical applied forces as would be generated through those channels of force as would come from those forces as are being applied by [195] and [4666] to motive power, or - as is seen - this the higher application of the same forces applied to motorcycle, caterpillar tractor, boat or aeroplane, in their VARIED elements of applied force see?

4. (Q) [4666], early morning July 27th - 28th. Dreamed [195] and I built some kind of machine using a caterpillar device - had four sprangle wheels - two on each side - leads travelled on belts over the wheels and leads extended straight out from belt on one trip between wheels - but on return trip hugged closely to belt. This seemed to be a big success, and meant much to the advancement of the world. Early morning of 28th, dreamed test was being made of motor. There were present besides self, [900], [195], [294] and others. Motor seemed to be built much differently than at present. The eccentric drum was turning on ball races and geared to a shaft. There seemed to be no leads. Motor was turning perfectly and transmitting much power to shaft.
(A) As seen, both apply to the application of force as generated by that upon which the body, with [195], applying self in this direction. As seen, the radiating of the force as applied to other mechanical appliances would operate in a different manner, yet the principle of the operative force working in the same way and manner as has been begun on that of [4666] Motor. In these as seen where changes occur in the manner of transmission of force, rather changes necessary for the mechanical action of applied force from the radiating drum as seen, and these as seen - may be made a portion of that being worked out in motor. Now we have that in this motor as is seen in varied elements that are as octaves in music. There are forces or pitches above and below the scale, as are applied in the human voice. There are colors above and below the spectrum, as applied by man in a nominal manner. There are the same octaves of force seen or applied in the various elements as go to make up the forces as applicable to elements in any generative force. Many, as seen, have been placed and given a name - without yet having been separated or brought into being by man as a used force. The same condition applies here in the operative element of the force as applied in mechanical means to the generation of force in and through the [4666] motive force. These, then, are only to be worked out along the channels and lines as has been designated in that given as applied TO the mechanical arrangement of leads, drums, cams, carriers, balls, circles, and radiated elements. Work it out! Ready for questions.

5. (Q) Does [195]'s dream refer to [4666] Motor or to a propelling system?
(A) As given, another element of the same applied force as generated by motor and applied to other motive machines in use, or - as seen, with the discovery, as it were, or the placing of a motive force through THIS mechanical means - other mechanics already in use, or motives, may have the same force applied to same. Just as has been given in forces as are operative through combustion of gases. Here we have an operative force, not through combustion, but with transmission of gravitation raised to a degree that same becomes motive power.

6. (Q) Does [4666]'s dream #1 refer to motor or propelling system?
(A) As given.

7. (Q) What is wrong with assembled [4666] Motor at ... St., ..., Ohio?
(A) Nothing, only in the way of transmission of power created.

8. (Q) New straps attaching or connecting leads with cam have been designed on drawing board. Will these work?
(A) With these we have a new operative force or application of the force generated, and with the continual vibrations or variations through vibrations of the changes brought about, will bring the success. Keep working on it.

9. (Q) Will orientation of motor make any difference?
(A) We don't find it so, other than that as has been given.

10. (Q) Would cam race made more oblong instead of round give more power?
(A) Gives more ability of further TRANSMISSION, even as seen in that of the caterpillar idea of transmitting force or power. This gives more force or power of the transmissioned force, than were same only a circle.
